I have had the pleasure of being part of this excellent and motivated dental team since 2014. I am the friendly face and voice that you see first before seeing our team of tremendous dental experts. I am passionate about being a patient advocate. There is nothing like seeing the look of satisfaction on a patient’s face when they have navigated through the confusing world of insurance/ finances and unknown treatment to come out the other end with an even bigger beautiful smile. To calm fears, answer questions and help make treatment possible especially in a soothing environment is rewarding to me. I look forward to coming into work each day knowing i will be working with a tremendous team and will be able to help our kind and lovely patients obtain the healthy and beautiful smiles they deserve.

I was born and raised in Calgary and really love the city. I have been with downtown dental for 33 years — part of a team of dental assistants who ensure that our patients get the best possible experience. I really enjoy getting to know our patients, and after this many years I feel fortunate to have met some very wonderful people. Outside of work, I have been a volunteer with the Calgary stampede for 18 years. I proudly served on my condo board for 11 years, working to make the building a beautiful place to live. Also, I enjoy a variety of handcrafts, gardening, cooking and entertaining and have summered at Mara lake, Sicamous B.C. for over three decades.

I was born in the republic of Moldova and moved to Calgary in 1997. I obtained an undergraduate degree in psychology from the university of Lethbridge, and a dental hygiene diploma from Dalhousie university. My special training includes administering local anesthesia and working with patients who are uneasy about dental work. As a dental hygienist, I help patients to maintain optimal oral health through regular cleanings and personalized oral hygiene education. In my spare time i enjoy yoga, snowboarding and camping.
I am a university of Alberta dental hygiene graduate with over 30 years of experience. I truly love my profession and I am committed to offering all my patients the highest standards of care and patient service. I appreciate that our dental team regularly attends continuing education courses and we are always learning new techniques and information to improve and optimize the level of care we provide. I recognize that all our patients are individuals with a different set of concerns or circumstances and I am here to listen and provide the caring personal attention you deserve. I chose my dental career because I enjoy educating and offering guidance to help my patients improve their current dental status. A healthy mouth has a positive impact on one’s mind, body, and social well-being….. I love to see my patients’ smile! Outside the office you will find me downhill skiing and snow shoeing during our cold winter months and hiking, biking and of course golfing during the summer.
